LendforPeace.org, a non-profit microfinance platform founded by four Penn students and alums, is seeking students who are interested in gaining first-hand outreach and networking experience as a part of a growing international NGO to join out Student Ambassador Network.

LendforPeace.org allows individuals to make interest-free micro-loans of $25 of more to specific entrepreneurs in the Palestinian territories. By partnering with microfinance institutions on the ground, our site offers lenders the opportunity to personally advance economic opportunity and political stability in the Middle East. LendforPeace.org is funded by grants from the Clinton Global Initiative and Ashoka (the largest association of social entrepreneurs in the world). Recently featured on Fox's national business network, Fox Business, LendforPeace.org plans to continue expanding its reach in order to maximize impact.

Student Ambassadors help LendForPeace.org increase loan assistance for more entrepreneurs in the West Bank by bringing LendForPeace.org to their campus and strengthening the LendForPeace.org network locally. Ideal Student Ambassadors have strong interest in microfinance, development, social policy, conflict resolution, international relations, international business, and/or social entrepreneurship. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) a must. Experience in event planning, public relations, marketing, or community/campus outreach is a plus.

We are looking for a serious person looking to make a serious difference. While this is an unpaid position (the founders are volunteers as well) working on LendforPeace.org will allow you to do something good in the world while gaining valuable experience with an innovative start-up.
