www.studentmicrofinance.com is a website designed with the aspiring student of microfinance in mind. Students active in the Microfinance Club at the University of Pennsylvania saw a critical need for an online platform to bring together young persons interested in microfinance from all over the world. As the field of microfinance matures, more talent and resources are needed than ever before.

We work to enable those enthusiastic about the rapidly growing field of microfinance to have a place to share ideas, gain meaningful experiences, and ignite inspiration.

We pursue this mission through three main activities:

• Internship listings: We provide a centralized resource for people to seek and secure internships, both domestic and abroad, related to microfinance.
• Sharing knowledge: Through a broader community of microfinance-enthusiasts, we share insights, strategies, and resources to navigate daunting tasks of fundraising, starting a club, arranging foreign travel, and a wide array of other engagements.
• News: Keeping up to date with new microfinance initiatives fosters fresh ideas, critical reflection, and exciting examples of the impact that microfinance is making on the world on a daily basis.
